This is a straightforward question. First, I'm going to ask you how much do developers make, and then we'll see if that's true or not.

So the first thing we need to know about this topic is what does it mean? Well, in general terms, "developer" means someone who writes code for computers. So programmers write programs that are instructions for your computer to follow. And they're usually written using some programming language like C++, Java, Python etc...

Now let me tell you something interesting - there are many different types of people out there who work as software engineers. Some of them are really good at writing code, but others aren't so great. But even though they may be bad writers, they can still earn quite well because their skill set allows them to get paid more than other workers.

However, these jobs also require experience working with large games, operating systems, databases, web servers etc. If you have no previous coding experience, expect to begin earning less than $60K annually.

The average developer salary is $85,000. The median annual income for a software engineer in the United States was $94,936.
