How to Create a Calendar in The Lightning Experience?

After logging into the Lightning Experience, click on the "Create" menu and select Calendar. Then drag it to where you want this tool to be situated in your UI.

The calendar has an icon that looks like a date with clock hands pointing up. Selecting this will allow you to edit its settings or even delete it if necessary.

When editing a specific event on the calendar, there is also an option at the top right which says "showtime." This will switch between showing either 12 hours or 24 hours for that particular day of the week (provided they are set as such).

You can also select any colour from within Salesforce's theme palette by clicking on one of these colours shown below: Save changes directly.

Why Do I Have Two Notes Related Lists Now?!

While you're in the process of building a new account, your team may have questions about what to do next. To help with this, TargetX now includes two related lists so users can quickly find answers: one for Custom Fields and another for Notes & Attachments. These are set by default as 'My Related Lists,' but they can be renamed if needed (more on how below).

Why Salesforce Built Lightning Experience

Salesforce Lightning has been designed to help salesforce customers be more productive and efficient. This new, elegant design will allow for a more streamlined user experience through improved navigation, faster data entry with fewer taps than classic Salesforce, and the ability to view records in their related lists together on one screen.

A Brief History of Salesforce.com

Salesforce.com was founded in 1999 by Marc Benioff and Parker Harris after a disappointing sales experience with Oracle Corporation that led to them deciding there must be an easier way for customers to buy the software. Salesforce is the customer relationship management enterprise cloud computing company that provides CRM, marketing automation, social media and other business applications online as services. According to the New York Times, today, they have more than 100k paying customers from small businesses to Fortune 50 companies and are worth around $50 billion.

History of Marketo and Salesforce Lightning

As of December 31, 2014, Marketo became a wholly-owned subsidiary of salesforce.com and began offering the same marketing automation tools as salesforce; this initiative was called "Salesforce Lightning."

The new Marketing Cloud is built on Salesforce's latest technologies: email solutions such as Chatter Email and Campaign Builder, in addition to social media applications like Radian Social. The change also includes CRM (customer relationship management) or sales force automation systems which are part of the service now.

Today, many companies purchase both services because it provides enhanced capabilities for their customers that they cannot find elsewhere with one company alone. When you 'buy into these apps, your integrations come free too! It may not be easy to understand how everything pieces together, but once you have it set up, the benefits of this new offering make a lot more sense.

Salesforce Lightning has been designed to give sales and marketing teams an easy-to-use interface that is mobile-enabled for any device; users can get access anywhere they are with their laptop or tablet. This means less time spent at your desk and more time on calls! It also improves collaboration between departments such as sales and customer service, leading to a better experience for customers who may be in contact with different groups throughout their journey through the purchasing process.

The Salesforce Lightning App Builder allows marketers to create customized apps without having the technical skills required by other platforms like Adobe Air or Java Scripts. You can 'install ' the App Builder or 'build' it from within salesforce.com and then add apps, features and functionality for your marketing needs, such as a Contact Us button to allow customers to reach out with any questions they may have.

You can also do this by using Lightning Components which are reusable app building blocks that make it easy for marketers to customize without any coding skills necessary! All you need is the right component (such as buttons) to build an app on top of them. These components connect everything like puzzle pieces, so you don't have to worry about getting lost in translation when creating your own customized mobile experience!

In Summary: Salesforce Lightning is a new interface designed specifically for sales and marketing teams who want more.

Salesforce Lightning features for business users

- Lightning Components: With the Lightning Components, you can build your own mobile app without any coding skills necessary. It is a set of reusable and customizable building blocks for marketers to make it easier to customize their apps with marketing-specific features while never having to worry about anything getting lost in translation!

- The Us Button: One of my favourite new additions from Salesforce Lightning is that there's now an "Us" button right on the homepage so customers can easily contact us should they have any questions or need help with something. This way, we're always just one click away, even when our phone lines are closed :)

- Customizable Homepage Tabs - now you can designate tabs as "Home," "Contact us," or "Get Started." Each will show up in every app, no matter which tab it was set to when first created! You don't need special permission anymore; if you want something different, go ahead and make it happen :)

- Personal Space Templates - this has always been an awesome feature but even better with Lightning because all of your personal space templates will automatically be shared across any apps they're used in from then on.
